Meizu’s upcoming 15 lineup will be unveiled April 22 at 7:30 PM. Meizu has made no secret of its plans to launch the smartphone lineup in celebration of 15th anniversary. The venue is said to be the Wuzhen Internet International Convention Center. The Meizu 15 should launch alongside two other phones – the Meizu 15 Plus and the Meizu 15 Lite.
The Meizu 15 plus is said to sport a 5.95-inch QHD touchscreen with Samsung’s Exynos 8895 SoC coupled with 4/6GB RAM under the hood, a 12 MP + 20 MP rear camera combo, a 20 MP selfie snapper, and a 3,430 mAh battery.
The Meizu 15 will come with a 5.46” AMOLED display with the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. The Lite version will keep the screen size above but will be LCD while the Meizu 15 Plus will come with a 5.95” QHD AMOLED screen.
Meizu is not joining the bandwagon with its new phones. The displays have 16:9 aspect ratios and don’t have a notch. There are antenna lines on the rear and the cameras are positioned in the center. The ring flash design also makes a comeback.
The Meizu 15 lite is expected to be the most basic of the trio, it will retain the design of its larger siblings, but with variations in RAM, memory and camera configurations.
