In the second half of 2017, Meizu has launched a lot of products which includes Meizu Pro 7, Pro Plus, Meizu M6, M6 Note and Meizu Flow headset. Current information suggests that the company is not drawing the curtain on smartphone launch for the year yet. Teasers and poster leaks on Weibo implies that Meizu MX7 will be released on October 11.
Previous speculations on the specs of Meizu MX7 suggest that this phone will be powered by an Octa-Core Processor coupled with 4/6 GB RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB internal memory. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with a 5.5 inches IPS LCD 1080 x 1920 pixels display. It is also speculated to host a 16-megapixel shooter on both the rear and front with a 3100 mAh battery.
Meizu MX7 Smartphone was launched in October 2017, comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of N/A pixels at a pixel density of N/A pixels per inch. The screen is not protected by a Scratch Resistant display.
The phone is powered by a N/A core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and it comes with 4 GB of RAM. What this means is the processor has N/A cores in the CPU and 4 GB of RAM ensures the phone runs smoothly with multiple applications open simultaneously. The Meizu MX7 also packs in a graphics processor. and does not support expandable storage.
The main camera on the Meizu MX7 is a 21 MP shooter. The smartphone also has a Front Facing Camera capable of shooting 5 MP selfies.
For the optics, it will reportedly boast a 21-megapixel rear camera placed on the back of this phone. For the front panel, the device will boast 5-megapixel camera. Furthermore, the smartphone may feature Meizu’s mBack home key below the device’s display. It is rumoured to be running on Android Marshmallow or Android Nougat operating system with the company’s Flyme UI on top of the smartphone. A Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack will be placed on the bottom of the Meizu MX7.
It must be noted that the October 11 release date was not officially released by Meizu and the authenticity of the leaker cannot be verified thus this may just be a rumor and nothing more. This leak leaves some doubt because it suggests that Meizu MX7 will sport an in-display fingerprint sensor which according to Qualcomm will not be found on a smartphone till 2018.
